Need an artistic outlet? Join us every Thursday around 5pm for Meeting of the Minds, a writing prompt community hosted by Autumn Jave. Free to participate; suggested donation or taproom purchase. Paper, pens, some art materials available for use, or bring your own favorite notebook.

Every 1st and 3rd Thursdays, come at 5pm for the Writing Group, and stay for the Open Mic at 6:30pm.

Arts and Wellbeing Lab is a space to explore & build a deeper relationship with wellbeing. Today, the theme is mindful doodling. Please have something that you can doodle on/with. It can be a scrap paper, a napkin, notebook, or back of old notes… pen, pencil. Anything that’s available to you. Open to everyone.  If you’ve never doodled, come join us!

A casual and fun variety open mic hosted by Hell’s Kitchen neighbor Connie Perry, where anyone will be welcome to sign up – to sing, play music, read, recite, tell jokes, tell stories, etc, etc, to experiment, express and entertain. No reservations needed, just a $ 3 donation or taproom purchase for 5 to 7 minutes of mic time is suggested.

Muddy Paws Block Party takes over an entire block of Hell’s Kitchen (54th St b/t 9th and 10th Aves) to bring the community together for a street fair. With the lights out you can dance without worrying about ‘getting it right’. It’s 60 minutes of party classics and tunes to get you moving. Bring a water bottle and comfortable clothes to dance in.

Join the workshop to learn 2 starter weaves which you can turn into all sorts of neat pieces. The crafting is free to watch, but if you’d like to make your own, there is a participation fee. The annual Fall Festival celebrating NYC craft beer is back!

First launched by the NYC Brewers Guild in 2014 as a massive street party in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn – Blocktoberfest was built on a simple idea: shine a spotlight on the exceptional talent, innovation, and community spirit driving New York City’s craft beer scene.

For this year’s festival, we are bringing the party back outside! Join us at Culture Lab LIC for an unforgettable day celebrating the very best our brewers have to offer. Featuring live music, local food vendors, and exclusively NYC craft beer, this is the only event where you can interact directly with our 30+ local breweries all in one place! No exceptions – just pure local flavor.

Grab your friends and taste the finest pours the five boroughs have to offer. Each ticket holder will receive a souvenir glass to use for unlimited sampling at the fest, and to take home afterwards.
